Booking your flight lessons at Aviation Academy Scotland is a simple process, but it depends on whether you are a full-time or part-time student. Our scheduling system ensures that training is organised efficiently to help you progress smoothly.
1. Full-Time Students: Scheduled by Operations
If you are enrolled in a full-time training program, your flight sessions will be scheduled by our operations team.
This ensures that your training follows a structured timeline, keeping you on track to complete your course within the expected timeframe.
You will receive your weekly schedule via Private Radar and email, and any changes will be communicated in advance.
2. Part-Time Students: Book Your Own Lessons
If you are training on a part-time basis, you will be shown how to book your own flight lessons using our online scheduling system, Private Radar.
You can select available slots that suit your schedule, giving you the flexibility to train at your own pace.
Our team will guide you through the Private Radar system, ensuring you understand how to manage your bookings.
3. Can I Reschedule a Lesson?
Yes, but you must provide at least 24 hours' notice to avoid cancellation fees.
Rescheduling can be done via Private Radar for part-time students, or by contacting the operations team for full-time students.
4. What If My Lesson Is Cancelled Due to Weather?
If a lesson is cancelled due to weather or operational reasons, it will be rescheduled at the earliest available opportunity.
You will be notified via email or Private Radar.
5. How Far in Advance Should I Book?
Part-time students are encouraged to book their lessons as early as possible to secure preferred time slots.
Full-time students will have their schedules planned in advance, but any adjustments should be requested early.
