At Aviation Academy Scotland, we understand that unexpected situations can arise. However, missing a scheduled lesson without notice can disrupt training schedules and impact aircraft availability. Here’s what you need to know if you miss a lesson.
1. No-Show Policy
If you miss a lesson without providing at least 24 hours’ notice, it will be considered a no-show.
Cancellation fees apply (see Cancellation Policy).
Repeated no-shows may result in restricted booking privileges or a requirement for pre-payment.
2. How to Reschedule After a Missed Lesson
Part-time students must rebook their lesson via Private Radar.
Full-time students should contact the operations team to arrange a new session.
Rebooking is subject to aircraft and instructor availability.
3. What If I’m Late for a Lesson?
If you are more than 15 minutes late, your lesson may be shortened or cancelled at the instructor’s discretion.
If you arrive too late to complete your scheduled session, it may be treated as a no-show, and cancellation fees may apply.
4. Exceptions for Emergencies
We understand that emergencies happen. If you have a genuine emergency, please inform us as soon as possible.
The academy will assess your situation and may waive cancellation fees on a case-by-case basis.
Avoid Missing Lessons – Stay on Track!
To ensure your training progresses smoothly, always check your schedule in Private Radar and notify us in advance if you can’t attend.
