Yes, you can train for a European (EASA) licence on the Fastrack Course. Our training structure allows you to meet the requirements for an EASA Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) while following the same high-standard training pathway.
What Are the Additional Requirements?
If you choose to also gain a UK CAA licence alongside your EASA licence, you will need to complete additional exams and flight tests to satisfy both regulatory authorities:
Theoretical Knowledge Exams: EASA and UK CAA have separate sets of ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) theory exams. While much of the content overlaps, you may need to sit additional exams depending on the authority you wish to qualify under.
Skills Tests: You will need to complete flight skills tests specific to each authority’s requirements, typically with separate examiners.
Medical Requirements: Each authority requires its own Class 1 Medical certificate, so you will need to obtain medical certification from both a UK CAA and an EASA-approved Aeromedical Examiner (AME) if you wish to hold dual licences.
Licence Conversion: If you initially qualify under one authority, a conversion process may be required to obtain the second licence, including potential additional flight training and exams.
