What Happens if Prices Change After I Start Training?

At Aviation Academy Scotland, we strive to provide transparent and fair pricing. However, like any aviation training provider, our prices may be subject to change due to factors such as fuel costs, regulatory fees, or operational expenses. Here’s what you need to know about price adjustments and how they may affect you.

1. Pay As You Train Means No Large Upfront Commitment

Because we operate on a Pay As You Train model, you are not locked into a fixed long-term contract. This gives you financial flexibility while also ensuring you only pay for training as you progress.

2. How We Handle Price Changes

If our training rates change, we provide:

  • 30 days' notice for price adjustments so students can plan ahead.

  • Consistent, fair pricing—we don’t introduce sudden or excessive increases.

  • No hidden fees—any price updates will be clearly communicated.

3. Will My Current Rate Be Protected?

  • If you have already booked and paid for a lesson, the rate you paid at the time of booking will be honoured.

  • Your training contract will have a set rate for a fixed period of time or until a certain date. Your price will not change during this period but may rise afterwards.

4. Why Do Prices Change?

Aviation training involves variable costs, including:

  • Fuel prices, which fluctuate based on market conditions.

  • Maintenance and operational costs for modern aircraft.

  • Regulatory and licensing fees, which may be adjusted by the CAA or other governing bodies.

While we work hard to keep training costs stable, these factors may occasionally require us to update pricing.

5. How Can I Stay Informed?

We notify students well in advance of any price changes via email and direct communication. If you have any concerns, you are always welcome to discuss your training plan with our team.
